halfway between dreaming and waking

gosh it has been a while hasn’t it! well it has been a very intense few days with exams and all that.

this is not going to be long, just gonna list some things that im looking forward to…

if you are lucky I might post one of my quality pics that you so enjoy

right here goes:

1. Holidays!

Surprise surprise everybody I can not wait until school is over…this time at least for a while…all I ask for is some sleep and relaxation..is that too much to ask? No certainly not!

2. The festive season

yes it is all too much and I hate the disappointed feeling you get by the end of Christmas because it is never what it is cracked up to be.. hopefully though this year im going to go somewhere cool and fun for new years so I can drink everything away and wake up in Scotland or something not remembering my name…ahhh…

3. Rent free house!

No not rent as in money..3/4 of the Sandinos are leaving for Sweden and its snowy mountain tops..they get to bathe in saunas and ski…but I get to have peace and quiet and of course a special someone might move in for those blissful days…

4. Christmas TV

Christmas = great programs/movies, I don’t care what the Bible says! haha! yes give me that fatty drunkard in red that tries to slide down your chimney every year..i mean Santa hehehe..same movies every year and I love them for it! The networks really know how to bring the Christmas spirit of consumerism into our homes! Bless them!

5. Snow (?)

Ok, just because I decided to put this unusual occurrence here it will not happen. Sorry but would it be so awful with some beautiful sugary flakes falling on our red cold noses? To reflect the sun and create that magical scenery?

6. The lost art of ice skating

This year I have decided it will happen! Natural History museum ice rink baby here we come! Whoever wants to join me in my quest to find that inner ice skating champion of ours (that we al have i promise!) is free to come !

right well that’s all I can think of right now that is within reachable future..sure there are a billion of things I plan to do but that will have to come later…Ill keep you updated hehe

not looking forward to… just remembered! the horrible ringtone single that has an incredibly annoyin habbit of becoimg the xmas nr 1 and play in every corner of this country..this year the predicted pest is a remix of jingle bells…where sheep sing it…help!

i had the wierdest dream! yes! thats what i was trying to remember! It had chinese men in top hats standing on top of each other, a guy on the motorway almost run me over…on roller blades…and jonny was really drunk and really wierd…(nothing too strange i guess…)

Sorry I have been busy living. hehe. Yes Susi has been here but left today Im going to miss that little monkey, and i know I am not the only one who will…
I hope she enjoyed it. On Fridays she experienced the loudness and general craziness that is TGI Fridays on Fridays…where we also had a smashing strawberry daiquiri each…mmm…that was after a very long day in school where she met some people but mostly slept…everybody kept asking me who and where she was and all i could say was that she was sleeping…geh…
On Saturday we went to Camden and were sooooo close to get a tattoo but i didnt have enough money or else i so would have! You dont believe me but its true, we went into some tattoo shops and looked at their designs…we had been talking about getting one each together for a while now…but yeah it will have to be another time, its that simple…
After that we went home first to eat and rest and then we went to Brighton, our very own gay capital to go clubbing and Susi wanted to visit a gay club…we only found dodgy pubs so we ended up in Creation…we had first met up with jonny boy and had some drinks in Witherspoons…we are such losers and where in the club just as it opened, when it was basically empty but then after some drinks more the place started to get full and loud like it should be we danced and had tequila shots…i had one too many and as i went to the toilet to calm down, everything had gone blurry and i could feel tingles from the top of my head to my toes…i heard arianas voice, the goofy american was there with fran m and tom, our favorite gay man with the great afro (that he had hidden in a pony tail that evening ) yes that was a nice surprise! We did not see them a lot though, they went into the R’n’B room that later turned out to be the 80’s and 90’s music room…eh…
Yeah it was great dancing and they played Mylo! I had a blast..it was also funny to see susi getting chatted up by sleazy men in white shirts and the obligatory fight of course..where the gf of one of the guys involved was like attacking the other with her Bacardi breezer…ahh drunkards…and then there was the obligatory hen party..oh dear…let me put it as susi said it..”Those breasts are trying to commit suicide …” ..brilliant…

Sunday was hangover time and time for rest…i dont even remember much of it…we had a nice dinner in Taj Mahal though, the food was really good and i like the neon light decorations and Bollywood videos on the screen they have…quality ! after which we took some embarrassingly cheesy pics cos my dad and mum got a bit drunk and thought it would be nice to annoy us by taking pics of us …geh…
Monday I had to go back to school so susi, lover of the lay in’s, stayed and went to crawley to shop that day where she got some christmas presents (dont even remind me all that is gonna start soon! :/)
Today Tuesday i had to go to school as well, damn commitments, ib and the rest of it, so i missed susi leaving, i hope she is not too angry at me, if you are reading this , te quiero mucho monita! hehehe…
Right well Im tired writing all this, gotta go read my Dostoyevsky, thats right, Crime and Punishment baby, what a thrill…
Here is a pic from London, where we went on Thursday after i picked her up from Kings Cross. Its a the ice rink right in front of the Natural History Museum..no we are not skating..really want to do that sometime later though.. ; ) (yes, we should go)

Don’t expect anything exciting. It has been a very normal wednesday.

Let’s see…hmmm….well me and kaowen watched some really random stupid videos in the computer room in woodard…people really do make complete fools of themselves…i guess u only have to look at jack ass…some of these were actually not so funny…and then there was the guy sitting fishing on ice and a huge whale just appeared from nowhere and ate him…very bizarre….

got all my pics of my phone! finally! had 200 stored…ive just been plain lazy and not moved them to my lap top…going through them really brought back loads of memories…ive been so nostalgic lately its silly…i guess its a side effect of growing up…(bah like that it gonna happen hehe) its not gonna help that susi arrives in a few hours and it’s just going to be so sad when she leaves…her coming here is sucha bizarre thing in the first place…my old life “clashing” with my new one…it will be very strange indeed…need to make sure I sure her the best sides of this new life of mine…not that it is very exciting…meh… brighton and london …oh and crawley of course…the center of everything cultural and intellectual…

right now i really just need some sleep and in about 13 hours im meeting her! woooohoooo!

Today consisted of the usual tuesday activities…school, singers, yoga….school was ok got my tok essay back not ok but there is still time to make things right…singers was fun we have started on our christmas carols….tralallalala and yoga was funny, we did this new coordinated yoga with music…the music was muse and some random jazzy sounding stuff….the yoga instructor got really into it, she looked so funny….i fell asleep two times during it…thaks for laughing claire….i really dont think im getting enough sleep…but hey who is? exactly.

jonny made a random surprise visit in the art school! the muppet didnt tell anoyne, thought he would be clever and just pop in “i was in the neighborhood” style… we got to rub in how cool our new art school is, specially in comparison to his at hh college…fellt gooood and yeah his crap is still hanging round in the art school he should really find someone who wants to see it … bah

Right. It’s monday. The weekend is over.It’s cold. Really shouldn’t be any good right? But it has been an alright day the sun was shining, if u stood in it for long enough it warmed u which was nice. Sure tired from the weekend and ppl telling you u got absolutely wasted (yet again i wasnt that bad ok!) but it was fine. Finally sent of my oxford thing, which was a heavy burden lifted off my shoulders right there…

Saw some pictures from Reading that Ben had that we hadn’t seen before…they are all so good! I want them! Sure i look a state in all of the ones im in but hey the rest of the gang looks good! And really look like we are having a great time, which we were! I miss Reading….there is nothing like music and party 24-7 for like 4 days straight….damn right!

Susi is coming in 3 days! Can not believe I haven’t mentioned it b4! Yes my bestest best friend ever is coming and will finally meet everyone I have told her so much about and see the places I’ve told her so much about ! It’s going to be the best weekend this half term easy! She lands in Luton around 11 on thu, im taking the day off and we are heading for London baby yeah! we might even catch the musical Titanic and on fri she is coming to Ardingly….so excited im crapping my pants! (not literally ok dont worry)

Not a stress free start to the weekend…to my horror I realize that i need a teachers signature on something I was suppose to send of today no questions asked…at last my dad got home we went to school to realize that half the content of what I was sending is still not in my possession since Miss Price didn’t put it where she said she would…oh god now im freaking out because its just not funny when everything goes wrong…but there is actually nothing else I can do, she lives in Bton and we don’t have her telephone number to ask her where the work was, so Oxford University will have to get it by First Mail and hopefully it will get there in time! :/ wish me luck!!!

After all that commotion I read some of Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky, this book I was reading for myself but also used in my personal statement, so if I get asked about it in interviews I better actually know what to say…rather than “It’s about…eh…a crime…and I guess..the punishment…” it is quite a messed up book , the main character is a psychologically troubled young man that commits a seemingly useless murder, it is complex, you have to concentrate when you read it, its psychological and philosophical and generally not your summer vacation beach read…but quite good…

Then I watched 2 episodes of the O.C…ery naughty of me…aaand I am ashamed to admit I cried…it was just so touching, sandy and kirsten are simply too cute! Then episode 4…the f i t t e s t guy…roar…grrr…come to mama! He is new, his name is Johny and he goes to Marissas new high school Newport Union…mmm he was hot hot hot and I can’t wait to see more of that hot piece of ass…*dreams of hot O.C men*

The evening had a great time in store…Kim’s dad had his birthday party and Kim had invited me, jonny, ben k, hannah and michael. A jolly bunch of ppl, all a bit mad, special in their own little ways so we got on really well. We started of just sitting and talking and being generally civilized but as the drinks got more frequent and after stuffing ourselves with Kim’s mum’s delicious food there was more movement, I danced salsa with my dad (he was invited as well) and embarrassed myself.. then we all danced salsa and other dances ..i forced michael and ben to dance as well muhahaha …we did som safe dancing…hehehe :p I got fairly drunk I tell you…this morning I was slightly hangover/drunk…geh..head ache and my tummy wasn’t very happy…hot chocolate and cheerios helped though

Today has been very lazy, we woke up too early…like 8.45 am..4 hours sleep..no wonder my eyelids are ho heavy…we pissed about watched telly and had some left over cheese and celebration chocolate…yummy! Got home round 3 pm…

Indeed it’s finally friday, and this year it actually means the weekend is here for Ardingly people as well! Aren’t we lucky…geh…

So my cold is better, still not completely well though…can hardly breathe most of the time, but at the moment its A OK… at least I’m not sniffing all over helpless unexpecting victims scarf etc…oops…

My day has been quite alright, still hating the weather…its that lame old rain pissing you in the face with the help of a rude wind that always blows in the wrong places..my day started off by half sleeping half revising in the taxi on the way to school..the business studies test ended up quite badly…we will see when I get it back :/ The middle bit of the day was the usual, had the piss taken out of me by a certain ben rose (was really close to dropping that sewing machine on that ridiculously expensive highlighted hair of his)…then English and bohills dropping his stuff nice and loud on the floor in the middle of our dr Faustus reading causing loads of badly suppressed laughter, specially from david…oh but the day ended with a disappointing pack of lies of a chapel service…first it was all talk about there not being a remembrance service because it might offend ppl (aka the Germans) so they decide doing it about peace…but common talking about learning from war and then have ppl in iraq!? its all a bunch of hypocrisy or just lame attempt to deal with the harshness of life…just dont make fool of yourselves and pretend its all hero great lets be silent about it and make the world a better place…oh sorry for being such a cynic but shut the f*** up! ehum…Ill calm down now…breath..*takes long deep breath*

now to more positive things…peep show started! its finally back after being away for way too long as many would agree…the episode today was the first one and I really enjoyed it

whiles writing this I’m watching a lovely russian movie about twin sisters, one a bit crazy…make that quite a lot..and the other an actress and its really funny.well done

I had a rather bizarre dream last night. I was in our Art School and I was alone and then Scott Mills turns up. In reality I don’t even know how he looks like. But there you go in my dream this radio dj suddenly turns up and then I ask him who he is he answers and before I know I’m running away from him and I’m shit scared and it’s like a teen age scary movie…riiiiiiight…I mean it wouldn’t have been that weird if it was Zane Lowe I met in my dream cos I listen to him almost every day…but Scott Mills? Interpret it as ya like I have no clue what this one means…
